With a career that started as a teenager, Leo has played Sax with many major musical figures in the world – from Jerry Lee Lewis, Van Morrison, Paul Weller, to Ronnie Wood, Tom Jones, Jools Holland and many others. Leo produced Jane Horrocks' album, “The Further Adventures Of Little Voice”, which featured duets with Robbie Williams, Ewan MacGregor and, with a little help from technology, the late great Dean Martin, and made his acting debut in the British movie ‘Swing’, alongside Hugo Speer and Lisa Stansfield. Leo has recently written and presented various shows on BBC Radio 2 including: Sounds Of The 50s; In Conversation With…Van Morrison; In Conversation With…Ervin Drake, as well as documentaries on: Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr., Hollywood Musicals, and his father, Benny Green, in which Leo recreated Benny's final radio show from 1998. Leo’s band The Leo Green Experience were recently invited to open for Rod Stewart & The Faces for their 2015 reunion show, and perform all over the world for private clients. The band were featured on BBC Radio2’s Motown Celebration with Berry Gordy for Xmas 2015. Leo has written for The Guardian and GQ and is also Festival Director for Bluesfest, which is in its 5th year, and takes place at London’s 02.
