Ben Target is a comedian, actor and artist critically lauded for his wildly creative and consistently inventive work. In 2011 Ben won the prestigious UK national stand-up competition Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, and his 2012 show Discover Ben Target received an Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nomination. He has toured internationally and supported Edinburgh Comedy Award winners Jonny Sweet, Adam Riches and Indie rock sweethearts Noah and the Whale. He won acclaim in the lead role of hit show Waiting For Gaddot by Richard Gadd which transferred from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to the West End's Soho Theatre for an extended sell-out run. The production won the Amused Moose Best Show Comedy Award. He featured as The Guru in Mark Watson's Fringe First Award winning production The Hotel. He has written and performed for Comedy Central, BBC, Channel 4 and Virgin Radio. Ben co-created the anti-comedy vehicle What A Cool Bit Of Tech: the web's worst gadget review for the BBC. He co-directed BAFTA nominee Julia Davis in short film The Bird, and Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Kieran Hodgson in the short film FRANK.
