Fern is probably best known for her years co-presenting ITV's flagship daytime show THIS MORNING with Philip Schofield. Fern started in current affairs and news as a reporter and presenter. She covered the Queen's 80th birthday celebrations and reported from Basra during the Iraq war. She successfully switched to light entertainment, with one of her early hits being READY STEADY COOK, presented ALL STAR MR AND MRS, as well as taking part as a contestant in 2012's STRICTLY COME DANCING. She recently presented the 6th series of her Sunday morning BBC show FERN BRITTON MEETS where she interviewed such guests as Tony Blair, Desmond Tutu and Dolly Parton. In 2014 Fern took on a brand new challenge, presenting THE BIG ALLOTMENT CHALLENGE for BBC2. A mix of entertainment and take home information, it aired in April 2014 and returned for a second series in Jan 2015. Fern then went on to present two series of FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH, an antiques-based quiz show on BBC1 and CULINARY GENIUS for ITV. Her autobiography FERN: MY STORY went to number four in the Sunday Times best seller list and her six novels have had similar success. Fern is a regular contributor to Good Housekeeping Magazine and cycles hundreds of miles a year raising money for Lord Robert Winston's charity Genesis Research Trust. She also has a motorbike licence and is a member of Mensa.
